The Ring star Martin Henderson has been cast as a new doctor for the upcoming 12th season of Grey's Anatomy.
Deadline.com says that no details have been released about the New Zealand actor's character but he is expected to play a surgeon.
Henderson previously worked with Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes on her 2011 series Off the Map and the 2009 drama pilot Inside the Box.
He will next be seen on cinema screens in Everest.
