Nick Grimshaw 'will be new X Factor judge'

It is reported that BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw is set to become the new judge on ITV's The X Factor.

A source told The Sun that Grimshaw's appointment would be confirmed today or tomorrow.

"It would take a real curve ball to mess up the deal," the source added.

The paper had quoted show boss Simon Cowell as saying: "Nick loves artists and music, that's what I love about him."

It is understood that Grimshaw would be allowed to continue in his BBC Radio 1 role if he so wishes.
