The IFI Documentary Festival (formerly known as Stranger Than Fiction) has been expanded to a five day festival and is now accepting entries for feature length and short Irish documentaries.

Submission deadline is 6pm, June 24. Any feature length entries (over 60 minutes), must be premieres. The same does not apply for short documentaries (under 20 minutes), but those with premiere status are preferred.

Any documentaries that have been available to Irish audiences previously will not be considered. There is no entry fee.

To enter a feature length, send two DVDs an A4 sheet with the film title, running time, credits (producer, director), a synopsis of the film of less than 300 words, and an accurate listing of the film’s previous exhibition history to IFI Documentary Festival, Irish Film Institute, 6 Eustace St, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. You should also e-mail these details to IFIDOCFEST@irishfilm.ie along with three high-resolution images from the film.
