US network ABC has released the first trailer for its upcoming Muppets TV series – watch it here.
The series will debut on American television in the autumn.
Mashable reports that ABC President Paul Lee told reporters: "The original Muppets was making fun of all the variety shows that were going on at the time and [we] thought 'Why don't we go out and make fun of all the mockumentaries?'"
He continued: "The Muppets isn't going to look like The Muppets looked the last time [it was] on TV."
