Funnyman Ricky Gervais has joked about trading in his human friends for frog friendships after featuring in the new Muppets film.
The 52-year-old actor, who plays Dominic Badguy in the American caper musical comedy film, admits he is now best friends with his Muppets co-star Constantine.
Speaking at the movie's premiere in London on Monday (March 25), Gervais said: “I’ve loved the Muppets for years. I grew up with them. But I never met Constantine, my co-star and evil Russian frog friend, and he’s now my new best buddy.
“I love him. He’s just great. I don’t get star-struck but I wanted to hug them."
Muppets Most Wanted opens in cinemas on March 28.
