The Who have been confirmed to play the coveted final headline slot to close this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The official Glastonbury Twitter account confirmed the news this morning, and also revealed that Paul Weller will play the penultimate slot of the weekend.
Digital Spy quotes Roger Daltrey as saying: "It's great to be ending this part of a 50-year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world.
"We'll do our best to close this year's event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!"
The Who previously played the same slot in 2007 following the release of their album Endless Wire.
Foo Fighters and Kanye West are the other headliners at this year's festival, which takes place from June 24 to 28.
