U2 are ranked at number three on the new Sunday Times Rich List of the top 40 music millionaires in Ireland and the UK, with an estimated fortune of £431 million (€600m).

Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell are in first place with an estimated £730m (€1.017bn), with composer Andrew Lloyd-Webber in second with £650m (€906m). 

Dancer Michael Flatley is in seventh place with £195m (€272m), with singer Enya in 25th place with £90m (€125m).

On the Young Musicians Rich List, One Direction's Niall Horan ranks joint second at £25m (€35m) with his bandmates and their former colleague, Zayn Malik.

Singer Adele is in first place on that list with £50m (€70m).
