TEN caught up with Holliday Grainger who plays the not-so-ugly stepsister in the movie adaptation to find out what it was like playing a double act, which she admits was a "bit weird and odd." Watch the full interview below.
Speaking to TEN, Grainger said: "It was a bit weird and a bit odd. It's like this extra level of concentration in a way. You have to be very aware of what the other person is doing all the time and match them, but you can't really watch it.
"If it was in theatre we would have time to rehearse, but a lot of the time you just turn up on set and have to go for it."
She added: "Ken [Branagh] was really focused on us wanting to be really quick-off each other's lines and have a sense of frantic banter, which was actually quite easy with Sophie [McShera]. She's really funny and has this wicked sense of humour, and she's quite quick-wittedly 'bantery' anyway, so it felt quite natural to be entering into that with her."
