Antonio Banderas has told ITV's Loose Women that he is planning to study fashion in London.
The Shrek star said: "It's something that I am going to do; I am going to study clothing design."
He continued: "It's something that has been on my mind for a long time and probably one of the best schools in the world is here, St Martin's University [Central St Martin's], and so I am going to start studying with them. I need knowledge to take steps in that territory in the future.
"It makes me feel actually very young, to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality and another thing."
He added: "Of course, I won't stop my professional life; I'll continue acting, directing... but this is a new thing."
Former students of St Martin's include singer Jarvis Cocker and designers John Galliano and Stella McCartney.
