The first poster for AMY. the new documentary film about the late singer Amy Winehouse has been unveiled. Have a look here.
The film is released this July and has been made by Asif Kapadia, the director of Senna, the award-winning film about Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna.
AMY is told in Winehouse's own words and using unseen archive film, previously unheard tracks to chart her rise and tragic fall.
According to the press release for the film “Her huge success, however, resulted in relentless and invasive media attention, which coupled with Amy’s troubled relationships and precarious lifestyle, saw her life tragically begin to unravel.”
Winehouse died at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning in July 2011.
