Beck picked up the award for Best Album at last night's Grammy Awards but it seems a lot of Twitter users have never heard of the star with #WhoIsBeck trending during the show.
Following Paul McCartney's collaboration with Kanye West, and numerous Twitter users praising West for working with an "unknown artist", and Missy Elliott being dubbed an "upcoming Nicki Minaj" after her Super Bowl performance with Katy Perry, it doesn't really come as much of a surprise that Beck has managed to escape their radars until now.
As well as taking home one of the biggest awards of the night, Beck also performed at the ceremony with Coldplay's Chris Martin, which only lead to more confusion on Twitter. Oh dear.
