New Girl star Jake Johnson has said he thinks his co-star Zooey Deschanel will be a great mum.
The 35-year-old actress is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jacob Pechenik, and Johnson, who plays Nick on the series, told E! News, "I'm excited for her. We're really excited.
"She and Jacob are so excited and I couldn't be happier for Zooey. She's a good friend and this is an awesome thing in her life. I think she's going to be a great mum."
Johnson added that Deschanel's character Jess won't be having a baby on the show, "No, Jess is not going to have a baby. It'd be a weird Three Men and a Baby vibe... just imagine how weird Winston would be around that baby!"
