Tom Hardy has reportedly exited DC Comics' upcoming Suicide Squad movie.
The Drop star had been set to play villain Rick Flag in the movie, but according to The Hollywood Reporter filming commitments for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's The Revenant and his press schedule for Mad Max: Fury Road have thrown a spanner in the works.
Warner Bros are said to be looking at Jake Gyllenhaal to replace Hardy in the role.
Jared Leto, Will Smith and Margot Robbie will also star in the film, which is slated for release on August 5, 2016.
