Noel Gallagher has said he thinks his brother Liam is "making a mess of things at the moment".
Speaking to NME Noel commented on Liam's divorce from Nicole Appleton saying, "He's making a f***ing mess of things at the moment, but we've all been there. I've been there."
He continued, "Something like that can be a great thing because you get to the bottom and you cleanse yourself of a lot of f***ing s*** baggage and you start again. I'm the kind of person that says, 'F*** it, take it', and I'll start again. And that would be my advice to him."
Addressing the news that Liam's band Beady Eye were splitting up he said, "They're a f***ing great band but they're not great songwriters. They needed one great song. Not just a hit single, a great f***ing tune. But I don't think he'll be out of the game forever."
