Hozier has been nominated for a Grammy for record of the year for his runaway global hit, Take Me To Church.
The Grammy nominations were unveiled earlier today and the Bray singer, who takes to the stage at the INEC in Kerry tonight, joins Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Iggy Azalea, Sia and Meghan Trainor in the record of the year category.
Smith and Azalea have also been nominated for best new artist, along with Bastille, Brandy Clark and Haim. Eric Church, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams and Beyonce are among the early nominees in genre categories.
The Grammy Awards will be handed out February 8 next year.
