Will Ferrell has been cast in a new comedy set in the world of Shakespearean theatre.
According to Variety, the Anchorman star is attached to a leading role in the as-yet untitled film, which centres around the intense and competitive environment of a company that specialises in performing William Shakespeare's classic plays.
The screenplay will be written by David Guion and Michael Handelman,
Ferrell can next be seen in Get Hard alongside Kevin Hart.
