The long-delayed Janis Joplin biopic is finally set to start shooting in 2015, with Amy Adams' name reportedly still attached to play the title role.
According to Deadline, Dallas Buyers Club director Jean-Marc Vallee will helm the movie, titled Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can.
Previously Lee Daniels, Fernando Meirelles, and Catherine Hardwicke were all attached as directors, with Renee Zellweger also set to star in the movie at one point.
Adams recently worked on the highly anticipated new Batman film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
