After months of speculation about George Clooney's wedding to his human rights lawyer fiancée, Amal Alamuddin, the lovebirds have finally tied the knot in Venice.
The couple were rumoured to be walking down the aisle on Monday, but a statement released to E! News by Clooney's agent Stan Rosenfield, confirmed that the wedding had already taken place.
It read: "George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were married today (September 27) in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy."
The couple was married by close friend Walter Veltroni, who is the former mayor of Rome.
Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, met through a friend at a charity fundraising event last September.
