George Clooney has reportedly let it slip that he plans to marry his fiancé Amal Alamuddin in Venice instead of at his Lake Como estate as was originally thought.
The star received a Humanitarian Award at the Celebrity Fight Night gala in Tuscany and People magazine have quoted Clooney as saying in his acceptance speech, "I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places."
The couple announced their engagement in April and it was initially reported that they would wed in Clooney's Lake Como residence as it is secluded and would afford them a lot of privacy from the press and paparazzi.
