Fresh from attending his first cousin Laura's wedding in Spiddal and ahead of his 2fm show, Ed Sheeran will make an `intimate' in-store appearance at HMV on Henry Street in Dublin this Thursday, July 31.

23-year-old Ed will sign copies of his new album X from 12.00 noon and perform an acoustic set to a select audience of 40 fans. The event will be broadcast live on The Louise Duffy Show on Today FM.

Everyone who bought a copy of X from HMV shops nationwide and online between Friday 20 and Thursday 26th June, was entered into a draw to win tickets to the event.

This is the latest in-store held by HMV since its return to the Irish high street last year. Damien Dempsey, The Strypes, John Newman, Biffy Clyro, The Riptide Movement, Hermitage Green, 5 Seconds of Summer, Shane Filan, and Kian Egan have all performed at HMV shops recently.
