Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch would love to play Batman.
Ben Affleck may be taking on the classic comicbook character in the upcoming superhero movies Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Justice League, but that hasn't stopped 38-year-old Cumberbatch from thinking about playing the iconic role, according to Variety.
When asked which character he'd most like to play during a Q&A at DreamWorks Animation's San Diego Comic-Con yesterday (24.07.14), he said: ''Batman, I guess. Yeah.''
Cumberbatch, alongside John Malkovich, made his debut Comic-Con appearance to promote his role in this fall’s Penguins of Madagascar.
