After being hospitalised for critical injuries following a car accident on June 7, actor Tracy Morgan has been upgraded to a "fair condition".

The former 30 Rock star is showing "a great improvement" in his health, Morgan's representative confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lewis Kay said in an email statement to the publication yesterday (June 16): "Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement. His personality is certainly starting to come back as well."

Morgan's limousine bus was involved in a fatal crash on the New Jersey Turnpike at 1am on June 7 when Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper crashed into the back of the bus. One man, James McNair, died of injuries resulting from the crash.

Roper has pleaded not guilty to death by auto, and assault by auto charges, which were issued on June 11.
