Selena Gomez has ended her working relationship with her manager parents, Mandy Teefy and her stepfather Brian Teefy.

The 21-year-old actress and popstar has decided to part ways with her parents on a professional level as she no longer wants to spend family time talking about business.

E! News reports that this is not a rushed decision with Selena and her parents talking about it for some time.

A source said: "This has been going on for a while. This didn't just happen yesterday."

At first Gomez's parents were taken back by their daughter's decision, but now "everything is fine," the source said. "They're all good."

Their separation became official last month.

Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and Katy Perry's manager Bradford Cobb are top of the list to take over from Selena's parents.
