Brendan O’Connor has a busy line-up tonight on The Saturday Night Show with former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and Ireland and Ulster player Andrew Trimble just two of the names on the list.

Harding is set to talk about life since Girls Aloud and being the surprise assistant coach to Bressie on this year’s The Voice of Ireland.

Speaking to the Independent when Harding was announced as his helper on the show earlier this year, he said: "I didn't even know that Sarah was my assistant coach until I arrived in the studio that day, but as someone who's in one of the biggest bands in the world, there's not much more you can ask for, is there?"

He added: "She's very easy to chat to and really easy to be around". No doubt O’Connor will agree after tonight’s show.

Also on the show, rugby player Trimble talks about his Six Nations comeback, George Lee will talk about being back in the RTÉ newsroom, his take on Ireland's economic recovery and talk of another property bubble.

Dr Ciara Kelly from Operation Transformation will join O'Connor to talk about the effect of new cuts on GP's and Julie Feeney will perform live.

Tune in to The Saturday Night Show tonight at 21.55pm on RTÉ One.
