The creator and star of HBO comedy-drama Girls has revealed she is considering giving up acting once the show comes to an ends.
The 27-year-old actress has admitted that despite receiving accolades for her starring role in Girls, she sometimes prefers working behind the camera.
Speaking to Glamour Magazine Dunham said: "I don't know if I'm going to want to act anymore. I'm always relieved on the days I don't have to."
"I'd rather give parts to other women than be the woman having the parts," she added.
