Horror movie legend Christopher Lee has released heavy metal versions of Jingle Bells and Frank Sinatra's My Way in the latest issue from of his side career as a metal guru.

The 91-year-old star of such classics as The Devil Rides Out and The House That Dripped Blood and more recently, The Lord of The Rings and Star Wars, puts his famous baritone voice to good use on two very different versions of the songs

Lee released his first full-length heavy metal record, Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross, in 2010 and this year's follow-up Charlemagne: The Omens of Death.

The living legend, who has made career out of playing the undead, also released A Heavy Metal Christmas EP in 2012, following it up with A Heavy Metal Christmas Too, which is also available.

Speaking about this novel take on crimbo favourite Jingle Bells, Lee said: "I sing another version, it’s a bit more naughty. It’s not bad, I mean bad in the sense of unpleasant. It’s entertaining, it’s certainly different.

“And now in closing, of course, I wish you all a very happy Christmas, and for the sake of the world and those people in it, a safe New Year in 2014.”
