Adam Levine has admitted to being addicted to playing the popular app game Candy Crush Saga and uses his girlfriend's phone to play when he has run out of lives.
The Maroon 5 singer told Ellen DeGeneres, "This is so sad, but you know how they have the thumbprint Ids on the iPhones? I needed to buy more lives! Which cost 99 cents by the way, what a racket, right? The habit's free and then they mess with you.
"She [fiancé Behati Prinsloo] was asleep, so I kind of gingerly [lifted her arm and used her finger]. She kind of half woke up and said, 'What are you doing?' and I said, 'I'm playing Candy Crush'."
Having been awarded the Sexiest Man Alive title by People magazine, Ellen asked if he took his new role seriously. "I take it very seriously, it's funny, and it's kind of funny, right? It's amazing. You don't ever think that's actually going to happen and then it does and then it's really trippy.
"My fiancé burst into laughter, keeping me humble as usual. My mother asked me very sweetly if that makes her the sexiest mum alive, which is really cute and also kind of weird, and I said, 'I guess so.' And my father just said, 'You're welcome, son'."
