Ronan Keating has been cast in the upcoming Postman Pat movie.
The Boyzone star will provide the singing voice for Postman Pat: The Movie, which is based on the much-loved children's TV show.
Episodes star Stephen Mangan will voice Postman Pat in the CGI project which is set to be released in cinemas on May 23, 2014.
Keating said of joining the project: "It's been a true honour to help bring Postman Pat's singing voice to life. I grew up watching Pat and all the great characters in Greendale so I can't wait to take my kids along to see them all on the big screen."
Doctor Who star David Tennant, Harry Potter's Rupert Grint and Cloud Atlas actor Jim Broadbent will also appear in the film, with Keating making a cameo appearance.
Postman Pat: The Movie follows the postman as he auditions for a TV talent show in the hope of achieving fame and fortune.
