Boy band Lawson will record a live session in front of a small studio audience for 2fm's Weekenders with Ruth and Paddy tomorrow afternoon, following their sold-out gig in Dublin's Olympia tonight.
The group will play tracks from their new revamped album, Chapman Square Chapter II, which is being released today.
Speaking to RTÉ TEN, Ruth Scott said: "I love it when a band comes to play a session in the massive Studio One in the radio building. I get that feeling like I did when the teacher used to let you have class sitting outside in the sunshine!
"The fact that it's Lawson is brilliant. Their music is so catchy and we had an immense response when we announced that we were looking for people to come and watch them live on 2fm."
Lawson is Andy Brown on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Ryan Fletcher on bass guitar and backing vocals, Joel Peat on lead guitar and backing vocals and Adam Pitts on drums and they'll perform new singles Juliet and Brokenhearted among others for the lucky audience.
Tune in to Lawson live on air on Weekenders tomorrow Saturday October 19, from 2pm to 5pm, 90-92fm and on the RTÉ Radio Player www.rte.ie/radioplayer Weekenders is also on Sundays from 2-5pm.
