The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has revealed he plans to release a second solo album.

His debut solo album Flamingo was released in 2010 and he plans to write another as soon as he’s finished touring with The Killers.

The singer told NME, “I’m excited about going home. I’m looking forward to having a normal year. But I’m going to write.

“I’m going to be filing those diamonds, it’s my job. I’m just going to put my heart and soul into my solo record.”

The Killers will release their first compilation album entitled Direct Hits in November featuring 15 songs including major hits, a new single Shot At The Night and a previously unheard track, Just Another Girl.
