EastEnders will see a marriage proposal on the soap next week.

Alfie (Shane Richie) will propose to Roxy (Rita Simons) after receiving his decree nisi.
Roxy finds the decree nisi and wonders why Alfie has not mentioned it, but at a candlelit dinner later in the week he gets down on bended knee and proposes.
The scenes will air on Thursday July 18.
