A peak of over 949,000 viewers watched Keith Hanley being crowned The Voice of Ireland champion on RTÉ One on Sunday night.
Sunday's show averaged over 713,000 viewers and the average figure for last year's final was 627,000 viewers – a jump of over 86,000.
