A number of familiar faces joined forces with RTÉ 2fm’s Colm Hayes to support the Cycle Against Suicide campaign.

Comedian PJ Gallagher, sports presenter Brent Pope and models Rosanna Davison and Roz Purcell were kitted out in the bright orange 2fm colours to launch the cycle with Hayes.

Created by Jim Breen, as a direct result of his appearance on RTÉ’s The Secret Millionaire, the aim on the cycle is to raise awareness for those battling with depression, at risk of, or bereaved by, suicide.

The cycle kicked off from the RTÉ Radio Centre on Monday when almost 400 people got on their bikes to break the Cycle of Suicide in Ireland and the journey will continue until May 5.

Stay tuned to The Colm Hayes Show, weekdays 11am to 1pm, for updates on Cycle Against Suicide and you can listen back on the RTÉ Radio Player here.
