The Farrelly brothers have completed the Dumb and Dumber To script.
Director Peter Farrelly, who is developing the project with his brother Bobby, insists that while the film is yet to receive the green light, the sequel to the 1994 comedy Dumb and Dumber will be just as hilarious.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Peter said: ''It's not a firm greenlight yet because there are still negotiations happening, but that's what we'd like to do next. We have a script that's really, really fun."
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will reprise their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne.
Filming for Dumb and Dumber To is expected to begin in spring 2013.
