Emma Stone is reportedly in talks for director Guillermo del Toro's latest film Crimson Peak.
The Gangster Squad actress is currently being eyed for a top-secret role in the upcoming thriller, Variety reports.
If Stone signs on to star in Crimson Peak, she would be the first actor to join del Toro's movie.
Plot details about the project are under wraps until del Toro and Lucinda Coxon have rewritten the script.
Crimson Peak is scheduled to begin filming in February 2014.
