It has been announced that RTÉ Sport's commentator and presenter/reporter, Marty Morrissey, has been appointed to the position of RTÉ's Gaelic Games Correspondent.
A former teacher, Morrissey previously worked for WH Smith's Lifestyle Channel in London, Clare FM and RTÉ in Cork before joining the RTÉ Sports Department in 1994, specialising in GAA.
He has also reported and presented for the Olympics and Pro-Box Live on RTÉ Television, and Countrywide and The Mooney Show on RTÉ Radio 1.
In his new position as GAA Correspondent, Morrissey will continue to commentate on GAA matches.
