Strictly Come Dancing semi-finalist Dani Harmer is to star in her own new CBBC comedy series, Dani's Castle, next year, with Jedward among the special guests.
Dani's Castle picks up where Harmer's previous series Dani's House ended and sees her inheriting a crumbling estate.
The show was filmed on location at Killyleagh Castle in Co Down, with Waterloo Road and Scott and Bailey star Shannon Flynn playing the groundkeeper’s daughter, Tracey Beaker Returns star Richard Wisker playing a cousin with a claim on the castle and actor and singer/songwriter Kieran Alleyne playing another long-lost cousin.
Executive producer Elaine Sperber said: "Dani Harmer is one of the most exciting and successful young actresses on television and this new project really showcases her unique comedy talents and her growth as a performer.
"Dani has a huge following on CBBC and an even bigger following since her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, so this new series will be a major treat for all her new and existing fans."
