Claire Danes has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child.
The Homeland star and her husband Hugh Dancy will welcome the baby later this year, her representative told People.
The pregnancy is not expected to affect production on Homeland's second season, which premieres on September 30 on Showtime, a spokesperson for the Golden Globe-winning drama said.
Danes, 33, and 37-year-old Dancy met on the set of the film Evening in 2007, and married in a private ceremony in France in 2009.
