Gary Barlow has asked Prince Harry to perform on the special Diamond Jubilee song he is co-writing with Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The Take That star has been collecting performances from musicians for the official track that will be featured in the summer musical extravaganza marking Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee celebration.
Music legend Stevie Wonder is among the all-star list of artists performing on the night. Also included in the line-up is Paul McCartney, JLS, Elton John and Kylie Minogue.
The X Factor judge and the Prince met when the two men visited the Jamaican capital of Kingston.
Barlow tried to entice the prince to perform on the song when they met in a room showcasing the work of young Jamaican entrepreneurs, asking Harry: "I've started the Diamond Jubilee song and we're hoping to get you on a track."
When the prince replied: "I can't sing," Barlow replied "tambourine?" then added "just one hit?"
After the prince left Barlow remained upbeat about royal involvement in his project saying: "I'm sure we'll get him, he'll do it for the cause."
