Kate Middleton and Reese Witherspoon have reportedly become close friends after meeting at a charity event in Hollywood during Kate and William's visit to the States.
She's the new Princess of England and she's the American sweetheart, so it comes as no surprise that these two hit it off last month after a brief meeting in Hollywood. Middleton and Witherspoon reportedly exchanged contact details and have been emailing each other ever since.
"They're both high-profile women and newlyweds, so they instantly bonded," a friend of the actress told Life & Style magazine.
The source also said that Middleton is apparently a big fan of Witherspoon's work, and that Witherspoon had recorded the royal couple's wedding, which she has "memorised." Shame they didn't meet sooner and maybe Reese could have bagged herself an invite to the big day!
