Irish 'Inception' star Cillian Murphy has joined the cast of the new sci-fi drama 'I'm.mortal'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film takes place in the near future where immortality can be bought and is a way of controlling overpopulation.
A poor man named Will comes into money but is forced to go on the run with an heiress when he is accused of murder.
Murphy is expected to play one of the law enforcement officers chasing Will.
The role of Will has yet to be cast, but Amanda Seyfried will play the heiress.
The Andrew Niccol-directed ('S1m0ne', 'Gattaca') film is due to begin shooting in September.
