It's on RTÉ One on St Patrick's Day, and we're giving you a chance to see what you can expect from the new, award-winning Irish film 'The Eclipse'.
Directed by Conor McPherson and co-written by McPherson and Billy Roche, 'The Eclipse' has been described as a supernatural love story which follows a widower (Ciarán Hinds) haunted by nightmarish visions and the two authors (Aidan Quinn and Iben Hjejle) who cross his path at a literary festival.
Produced in association with RTÉ, 'The Eclipse' won in three categories at the recent Irish Film and Television Awards: Best Film, Best Script and Best Supporting Actor (Aidan Quinn).
Hinds won the Best Actor award at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York last year for his performance in the film and 'The Eclipse' also received the Melies D'Argent Award for Best European Motion Picture at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival in Spain in 2009.
'The Eclipse' airs on RTÉ One on Wednesday, 17 March at 9.35pm.
