RTÉ Television is set to broadcast The Saw Doctors' documentary film 'Clare Island to Cape Cod' this coming bank-holiday weekend.
The hour-long documentary, directed by Steve Lock, was released last summer to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Galway band.
'Clare Island to Cape Cod' features a performance by the group at the famous Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, in front of an audience of 2,000 people.
Leo Moran of The Saw Doctors said: "Finally we persuaded our good friend, Steven Lock, to come over to Cape Cod and film a new documentary on The Saw Doctors, that includes interviews, a bit of devilment, and loads of concert footage from The Melody Tent gig."
The documentary also features a late-night party in Headford, where The Saw Doctors celebrated reaching No.1 in the Irish charts with their version of the Sugababes' song 'About You Now'.
'Clare Island to Cape Cod' will be broadcast on RTÉ One on Saturday 1 August at 11.10pm.
This week The Saw Doctors' new video for their latest single 'She Loves Me' became a hit on You Tube.
