Jim Carrey and Jodie Foster are reportedly eyeing up the starring role and director's chair for the upcoming film 'The Beaver'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Carrey, flush from the success of 'Yes Man', is looking at the role of a man who has given a life and feelings to the beaver puppet he wears on his hand.
Foster is reportedly interested in directing the light comedy.
The directing job and lead part were previously associated with Jay Roach and Steve Carell.
