Pierce Brosnan is to bring the story of renowned Hungarian photojournalist Robert Capa to the big screen.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Brosnan's production company, Irish Dreamtime, is developing the film.
Paul McGuigan, whose credits include the upcoming 'Push' and 'Lucky Number Slevin', is expected to direct the film.
Capa captured many of the defining images of the Spanish Civil War and World War Two, including the D-Day landings.
He died in 1954 when he stepped on a landmine during the Indochina War.
