'Dragons’ Den' judge Peter Jones has revealed that he is annoyed by begging letters and people who try to foist business plans on him in the street.

He told the BBC: "To really annoy me, ask me for money so you can buy the house of your dreams and a car like mine - I get emails like that all the time."

Jones added that he also disliked would be entrepreneurs who, "present me with a 100-page business proposal from the boot of your car - like one guy did recently".

The businessman also said recently that he has finally started to get along with fellow 'Dragon' Duncan Bannatyne.

He told Closer magazine: "It's taken five series, but I'm finally warming to him. I think as he becomes an OAP, he's mellowing slightly. Before this series I couldn't stand him. But now we've been out for dinner together. It's quite a turnaround. He's getting old, and age is good for him."

This week’s show saw Bannatyne attempt to hijack an attempt by Jones to create a group bid involving all the 'Dragons' and a celebrity sculptor’s business plan.

Offered £90,000 in a solo deal by Bannatyne after Jones had proposed all five Dragons go in on the deal together for £70,000, Guy Fortelli eventually opted to go for an improved £80,000 bid from Jones, Theo Paphitis and James Khan.
