The actress who will play Vittoria Vetra opposite Tom Hanks' Robert Langdon in the big screen version of Dan Brown's 'Angels & Demons' has been announced.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer will star as Vetra in 'The Da Vinci Code' prequel.
Naomi Watts had previously been linked to the role in the Ron Howard-directed film.
In 'Angels & Demons' Vetra teams up with Langdon to try and solve her father's murder and stop the plans of terrorists.
Zurer was most recently seen on Irish cinemas screens in 'Vantage Point'; she also starred in 'Munich'.
