Tom Hanks and director Ron Howard are in final talks about reuniting for the big screen adaptation of Dan Brown's 'The Da Vinci Code' prequel 'Angels & Demons'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Columbia Pictures plans to start production on the film in early January.
The Howard-directed and Hanks-starring 'The Da Vinci Code' took $758m at the box office worldwide.
A release date of 19 December 2008 has been pencilled in for 'Angels & Demons'.
