Tom Hanks is to star in 'Talk of the Town', a new film written by 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' writer and star Nia Vardalos.
Speaking to Variety, Vardalos said: "Tom will play a man who is forced into a career change when he least expects it."
Hanks and wife Rita Wilson were among the producers of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'.
The actor will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in 'The Da Vinci Code'; it opens on 19 May.
