Dermot O’Leary has announced he is quitting as presenter of 'Big Brother’s Little Brother.'
The 34-year-old, who has hosted the 'Big Brother' spin-off show for the past seven years, will front E4’s 'Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack' in January but will not return for BBLB next summer.
Dermot who landed the presenting job on this year’s X Factor, said last night: “It is with great regret that my time on 'Big Brother' will come to an end after 'Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.'
"For the past seven years I’ve had the time of my life working on 'Big Brother’s Little Brother.'
"But this summer’s work commitment of BBLB and 'The X Factor' has proven to me that to do both shows is impractical if not impossible."
Davina McCall, the original presenter of the main Big Brother shows, is due to return for next summer's series.
Last April, comedian Russell Brand quit the 'Big Brother's Big Mouth' spin-off show after three years to concentrate on other projects.
